Here's some more pics of those Checker models. The project was almost cancelled for lack of presale activity. I don't know if my begging had an effect, but I just fell in love with its unusual design. These pics are the first hand builts. I haven't seen the final production pieces yet, but these were unusually well done for the first shot.

Got mine. Selected both colors knowing that with their very limited run of 143 each, they may sell out quickly. Jim was able to get preorders from the Checker club.
