1942 Oldsmobile 98 2 dr Club Sedan by Brooklin
Please see my post below with Ben Lampson's, 27020.4.21. I didn't realize that it was so far down the line, and will be lost forever. It's worth a look, if you like the 1940's/

Ray, I too like the '40-48 Oldsmobiles. The designers introduced art deco and art moderne touches that they left off other GM cars. I'm thinking front ends and interiors here. As for innovations, I think they sold quite a few of those post-war clutchless cars, to disabled vets and others too.
