Matchbox Models of Yesteryear in its Fire Engine Series produced a nice Power Wagon brush fire truck, one of which I have just acquired. These are based on the 1946 Power Wagon pickup. I have had a number of pickups for some time but had missed acquiring the fire truck version. These are rare but a couple have shown up much to my delight. It’s a nice little truck. It probably will not fight fires but will make a great parade vehicle.

Gentlemen, thank you for your fine photos of these fire fighting trucks. Right now, with all these leaves falling, they might just come in handy! (For those in the southern hemisphere, here in North Carolina, USA, early November is prime fall time, with beautiful color and lots of raking! But we haven't had frost yet, so flowers are still blooming.)
