More photos from David Knight...

A 1947 GM PD3751 Silversides Greyhound bus! This is a nice vintage Greyhound bus by IXO. It looks pretty realistic in the snow.

“It’s such a comfort to take the bus, and leave the driving to us...”

I like it!  Here's an older one in cast iron that you might enjoy.

David, wow!! You have quite an eclectic collection of models. I continue to be  intrigued by your pictures. Have you ever though about writing a book about your collection?

Here is the brother to your 3rd bus - this one is post-war!

Thanks for your good words, Kenspear.  Old toy collections are fun, but mine is not nearly as old or as extensive as many collectors have.  I just enjoy mine alongside my 1:43 models.  And my little writings that accompany my pictures satisfy my writing urges.

Nice Tootsie bus, Karl.  The axle placement on the front fender extensions is the give-away to the later production, as are the black wheels.  Good find!

@d-m-holcombe I love the Tootsie Toy's baroque streamlining - with its front and back wheel covers.

@d-m-holcombe   And here's one that is even older,  a 1931 Mack Parlor Coach.
