This nice 1:43 1947 Greyhound is by IXO. I remember riding on one of these in the summer of 1962.  The bus driver told me there were still some in service mainly used as spares. I still love the shape of these iconic buses.

Great!  Many thanks for posting this one.  It's very tempting, even though I just don't have a place for it.  I have several Greyhounds, but they're over in my "old toys" section.

Two thousand of the 1:1 were produced from 1947-48.  Powered by a six cylinder 6-71 Detroit diesel with a manual column change gearbox.  All were sold to Greyhound or affiliates.

Another great comparison. I have this bus in my collection and featured it (however brief) in a series of dioramas. It looked great in that setting.
