Dear friends,
The second prototype of the 1949 Mercury Woodie has just arrived.
This is the version with canoe on top.
Please note that hubcaps will be chromed in final version.

I can't wait for this woody to be released. I'm curious as to what the second color offering will be. I'm hoping for blue steel gray metallic.

Very nice overall. I will definitely be getting one. Love woodies. I wish the final version would have the stock single exhaust on the passengers side and not the non stock duel exhaust.
The trouble now days is that if a model is copied from someones non stock car and there are so many of them, people don't know the difference anymore as to originality or maybe the non stock look is what was intended. Also hope that the second version is without the sun visor, much cleaner without it IMHO
