1950 Chrysler Town & Country by Franklin Mint

Your beautifully original FM Chrysler is now just about thirty years old, but it really doesn't look it. Yes, some will point to the shut lines, but I like these opening features uncommon in our beloved 1:43 scale. When this FM series started, its prices were so high that Franklin Mint offered them in monthly payments; no one could afford about $60 for such a "toy." I have a friend, a used car dealer who dabbled in older cars, who started his FM collection at the beginning. He kept his behind glass in his showroom floor, and he said sometimes there were more people looking at his models than at the real things.
I still like mine, and this Chrysler is one of my favorites. Thanks for posting it, Galen.
