Man that looks good!
My brother bought that collection when we were in Dearborn for the 100th birthday celebration in 2003. I've asked him to sell it to me but he refuses.

I have the 100 Years of Ford set and think that for the price it was quite well done.
Please note that there were three different Minichamps 100 Year Ford Anniversary collections.
USA, Europe and Australia. Each had a core then other model cars related to the area covered. For example:
Minichamps Ford of Europe 100 years six car set:
1914 Ford Model T
1928 Ford Model A
1969 Ford Capri
1971 Ford Escort
2002 Ford Fiesta
2004 Ford GT

Really? I never knew that. THANKS Chris!
I have the set of thirteen cars and IMO everyone is a gem.
That 1950 Mercury coupe looks fantastic and Minichamps clearly did a top-notch job with this beauty. The color looks great on this model, too. The closest I have is the really nice 1/43 1949 Mercury in red by Universal Hobbies in it's own clear plastic display case. These cars make great subjects in any scale.
I have my black Mercury two door listed as an Eagles Race. I think Road Champs did one of these as well but in grey. I always think of the black one as the James Dean car from the movie Rebel Without a Cause in which the thugs punched a knife through those beautiful wide whites.

For the US there were 13 cars - two 6-car packages plus a Ford GT.
I was only able to afford the Precision 100 18th scale Speedster in white. The pics I took of all the cars satisfied me. 😊

This guy was one of the punks who slashed those beautiful wide whites, only 15 years later.
Can you guess who he is?
