This is a model of a white metal 1:43 scale 1952 Pontiac Sedan Delivery I just bought on ebay.  It is cream over pale green, which should look nice.  It seems impressive from what I can tell at least.  I took a chance on it as I love this year Pontiac and this body style and there was only one left.  I had no knowledge of this brand called SAMS Model Cars, other than I had heard the name.  It appears that they are based in England and do small batches only.  Perhaps someone is familiar and could enlighten me?

The odd thing about this purchase is that I was actually looking for a good quality 1:43 scale MGTF on ebay and found a nice one for sale by this company.  I was going to buy it but before doing so I checked to see what else they had  for sale....and found this Pontiac...last of the batch.  So priority went to Pontiac......I couldn't afford both!  Lol.

** Update:  I eventually decided to get the MGTF too as there was only two left and I didn't want to miss out.  Mine is done in BRG.

Much more commonly seen in orange with Gulf livery.    Here is one and one I converted into a tin woody.

@john-quilter Yes, that is the Gulf '53 Pontiac, which is quite different; especially in the rear, as I'm sure you know.  Nice to see that you have enhanced the trim as it really needed it done IMHO.  The Premium-X 2-tone blue '54 sedan is a nice model and good value for the money.  I really like your tin woody.

Very nice '52 Pontiac sedan delivery ! It does look especially good in this color scheme and has an even more classy look with the whitewall tires.

Jack, your good pictures of the '52 Pontiac delivery made me try to remember, and finally it came to me:  Brooklin's '53 version.  I didn't dig out mine, but BRK built a very good model of the Pontiac sedan delivery in several different colors (BRK 31).  If I remember correctly, Brooklin based this sedan delivery on those produced by Pontiac Canada, as Pontiac in the U.S. did not make this version; some sources say I'm wrong and that a few hundred '52 and '53 versions were made in the US.  Whatever the background, I thought you might be interested.

I just checked and saw several on eBay.

@d-m-holcombe David;  I have a number of BRK '53 Pontiac sedan deliveries.  They did a number of different gas logos plus a green Modelex, a maroon Wessex club model and likely a few more that slip my mind.  I am having one redone in a 2-tone application similar to the '52 I posted.  I think I may go with ivory over dove grey for that one...time will tell.

I should mention that, being a big Pontiac fan, I wish that the hood and rear door chrome stripes on the '52 I just bought were painted silver like the rest of the trim.  To me this is the classic Pontiac identifier.  Perhaps I can do this myself or failing that maybe pay some steady handed person to do it.  I am  told there are only 2 done in this color combo so I need to be careful!
