All but forgotten today is the Aero Willys built in Toledo, Ohio and also assembled in California from 1951 to 1955. Brooklin did a nice ‘54 Ace 2 door sedan in factory correct Gale Gray. John Roberts transformed one into an Ace hardtop also in factory correct Coral Rust. After production ceased in the U.S. after 1955 the Aero Willys continued to be built in Argentina for a number of years. Nice car but it could not compete against the Big Three.

It sure looks excellent as both a 1/43 diecast replica and a real car, too.
Somewhere around here I have another Willys model by Esval

I have that one "somewhere around here" too Bob; the blue one without the connie.
Here is one of the Esval versions, photo taken from the Esval website. There is also a red and white one without continental kit.

Thanks Jack and John for picking up the pieces I laid down.
@jack-dodds This is so true, Jack. Recently I posted here that I had no idea of an earlier history to Willys than the WWII Jeep. And yet rootling about in boxes (I'm back in London for a week or so) I discovered a 1919 Willys by Enchantment Land Coachbuilders. I shall post pictures when I return.
All three of these are excellent models. I have the Brooklin version as well as the '55 hardtops in both colors. Since nobody posted photos of the red version, here it is.

@jcarnutz Thanks John. I much prefer these without skirts but to my eyes, tu-tones just look better when darker colors are on top. 🤔 🤨
