Long time no post as I've been focusing on other things than model cars lately, but I recently purchased a few new ones. This is no.113 out of 408 pieces of Matrix's reissue of their Ghia ST Special in its original colour before it got repainted green. Love the copper roof, which really sets well against the black. Weirdly, Matrix says this is a 1953 rather than a '54, but seeing the rather convoluted history of Ghia's production of these Chrysler Specials it's probably just an honest mistake. But it's a lovely and elegant car wonderfully reproduced.

I have the green but would like to add this one also. Is the top truly copper color? That is what I prefer but I saw one listed somewhere and it was described as 'red' and it looked red instead of copper.

@whodeytink I'd say it is a reddish copper, but maybe that is just how it looks to my eyes. In any case, seems pretty accurate to the real one.

Definitely a reddish-copper roof on the ST Special Ghia compared to the copper top of the 1954 King Baudouin Aston Martin on the right, also by Matrix, and compared to
the red on the Jaguar at the left upper aspect of the attached photo.
