Sometimes it’s just that two of something is better than one. I liked the ‘55 Chevrolet Cameo Carrier so much I have acquired two. A couple of years ago I posted some ipictures but have just gotten better pictures of the actual truck as well as the Brooklin model #53, one of their early yet best releases.

You don't by chance chew Doublemint Gum do you David?
I agree that this Cameo is very nice, especially considering how many years ago it was done.
Not since I was in junior high school. And now I can’t walk and chew gum at the same time. I must say that I miss the way Brooklin would introduce several new offerings each year. They were generally cars we saw on the streets including entry level series cars such as a Chevy Yeoman, a Ford Mainline two door, a Plymouth Plaza as well as the snazzy coupes an convertibles as well as cars of the ‘30’s and ‘40’s. Can we imagine now the likelihood of Brooklin producing a Willys 4wd station wagon, an Aero Willys, or a Jeepster, a Henry J or a Kaiser Manhattan! and all at a price one could afford?

It is always nice seeing your photos of a real car or truck with models of same. Thanks much.

@david-knight I got 4 old Brooklins two years ago for the price of one today and was just as excited.
And don't forget the quite nice Ertl 1955 Cameo. A good deal back in 1994 for only $8.60 at a toy show
