1956 Chevrolet 210 two door sedan conversion

As promised here is the completed Chevrolet 210 2 door sedan. Yes, I only do replicas of real production cars, not phantoms so no El Camino conversion. Model makers usually do the top of the line cars in a range so I did a 210 for variety. Solid colors were available but not common in 1956 but with this project I had some exact match rattle can paint for the roof and deck lid so was able to preserve the factory turquoise for most of the car. That will not be the case in the next project which will be a two tone Belair four door hardtop although Chevrolet did offer a 210 four door hardtop in 1956.

I agree they are beauties but way too pricey. That’s why I used the US Model Mint to upgrade. In my opinion, since it is white metal and pretty nicely done When enhanced, looks very good! IOM
