As we await Brooklin’s upcoming models we can still appreciate some of the earlier releases, even those without the level of detail that more recent models have had. This ‘56 Lincoln is one of my favorites.

These two were so well done...I love those colors!
That looks great in any color !The 1956 Lincoln Premiere is such an attractive automobile and in scale form it is such a knockout. I have (won) a John Roberts enhanced 1956 Lincoiln convertible in black. They are stunning cars and display beautifully.
Would you provide a photo. I would like to see one of these after John R did his work. These are beautiful cars.

!956 Lincoln Premiers being one of my all time favorite cars has been a cause of my having models of them in all scales from 1/43,1/24 and 1/18. Love the pictures David.
I've conveyed this story before, the history behind the 1956 Lincoln is fascinating. Basically, FoMoCo wanted to go after Cadillac's sale dominance directly and pulled out all the stops when they, essentially said, "Just put a concept car in production." Looking at the XM800 is easy to see that management did just that.

Sure, Ed ! I will put up a separate 1/43 post a bit later with the John Roberts enhanced Lincoln. He did a great job and it is a beautiful automobile.
Here are some more images of the ‘56 Premiere in Amethyst with Starmist White top. The color on the Brooklin in the proper light is much closer to the actual car.

I also love Brooklin's convertible version. The windshield surround makes a big difference in making it look real.

And of course you can never go wrong choosing red for a convertible!
