A couple weeks ago I was able to purchase very nice and neat BRK 35 1957 Ford Skyliner. The price was rather high but a choice here isn't huge.
For me every model by Brooklin to collection is a great event. Of course, BRK 35 was made more thsn 30 years ago and now Brookin stsndards are much higher. But I love its old style and hope to expand my small white metal collection in future despite all problems.
Nice one ! That is an early Brooklin but it is an amazing full-size car and really cool white metal model of if. I have that same Brooklin replica. I got at one at the 1/43 Countryside, IL shows some years back (and also a SunStar 1/18) and it is a favorite. Alternately, it is very heavy and also makes a tremendous self-defense weapon !
Have it, love it along with the FM version with the operating top, and the Western in 1/43 scale. Also have the FM and DM in 1/24 scale and the Sunstar in 1/18 scale.

That's a great 1/43 '59 Skyliner! I bought one many years ago when they $10 on eBay. There was a time when these were commanding prices north of $100, they have since settled down - not that anyone's in this for the money. 🤨 😏
I think you were lucky to get it, even if the price was high!
There is also a black top up version done as part of the James Bond series of cars by G E Fabbri. Was in the movie Thunderball. The Brooklin one can be greatly enhanced, like many early Brooklins, with the application of some bare metal foil on the chrome trim parts.A couple weeks ago I was able to purchase very nice and neat BRK 35 1957 Ford Skyliner.
