This post shows the 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special by Motor City U.S.A., which was the 2025 1/43rd & Automobilia Show model at the recent Chicago Shenanigans weekend event. A total of 24 of these cars were made in four different color combinations, some with open windows and some with closed windows. Mine is Seminole Red and Dover White with closed windows. Made several years ago, but not sold, these were the final models from Motor City. You might wonder why I have separate interior photos. My model, like at least one more, had a seat insert that had come loose. I disassembled the model, re-glued the red piece in the front seat, then reassembled it. I took the opportunity to photograph the nicely detailed interior. Disassembly and reassembly went smoothly, since the model was designed well. The background in the photo is a Frank Lloyd Wright designed house in a Chicago suburb.

Hi Ed,
IMO your pic with the FLW designed home is worthy of being included in the Cadillac advertising brochure 👍 That pic is outstanding !

You're welcome. I've taken some photography classes myself and I know it's not easy sometimes to come up with such a great picture like you did. I appreciate the fact that you shared them with us.

Really nice Cadillac replica and a fine repair job on this one. It looks great in the photograph and just the type of car an owner of a Frank Lloyd Wright home would own !
...and Mr. Wright DID drive red cars! "Cherokee Red" was his preferred shade.
Super nice picture and writeup Ed. Thanks for sharing.
