Which came first, the ME MOD Olds or the Brooklin Olds?  I could never figure out why ME MOD made theirs.  JoHan made a plastic promo and kit for 1963 in 1/25 scale, and the hardtop was copied directly and offered as a 1/20 scale friction powered toy made in Hong Kong.  They even copied the awkward mold separation lines around the rear roof pillar emblem.

I believe the Brooklin 1963 Olds was first.   Since the ME MODs were kits they were great for chops.  I did a four four sedan and a wagon.
