We have plenty of 1963 Riviera to choose from but the choice is very limited for the 1965 model. Of course, Brooklin did one last year but it has very few details and quite not accurate.
On the other side, Spark did one many years ago that is highly detailed and hard to find. The chrome trim and badging are very sharp and the interior particularly well done with the rendering of the wood trim. This is on par to the quality we are accustomed with Goldvarg and GLM/Stamp. Here are a few pictures of the model I received a last week.
On eBay I see several 1963 BUICK RIVIERA 1/43 MODEL CAR by Spark, Hot Wheels, and Welly. Can anyone critique the Welly version?
I have this rose color one and agree it is very well done.
I always thought the Spark had a little 'low rider' look. But I don't see that in Nickies pics.
And if you like 43rd scale engines there is the maroon 1963 version by Franklin Mint. Lots of chassis detail as well.

@john-quilter I was specific about the 1965 model year that is far different from the 1963-64. I am not aware of any other 1/43 scale rendering of a 1965.
Nickies, I don't have anything comparable, so I just toured eBay for 1965 Buick Riviera 1/43. I found several by Spark, all fairly pricey. But, based on the sellers descriptions, I also found versions by Hot Wheels and Welly. I have a hunch these are more toys than models, especially since one of the Wellys was listed with a "pull back" mechanism. I don't think these are competition for the Sparks.
