I collect among many other things, every winning 1/43 Le Mans car from 1923 to 2025. Here is the Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon 1966 Ford GT40 Mk.II Winner. by CMR.

CMR has three 1966 Le Mans Ford GT40, #2 black McLaren/Amon, #1 blue Miles/Hulme (the real winner), and instead of #5 bronze Bucknum/Hutherson (3rd place) they've chosen #3 red Gurney/Grant (which didn't even finish because of radiator fault). Guess they liked 1-2-3 number combination.

Most of us know the story of the 1966 race from the film. Here is the Miles/Hulme car that officially came in 2nd, made by CMR.
Here is the DNF number 3 car raced in 1966 by Gurney/Grant. This is an Altaya model.
The 3rd place No.5 car is still on my find list.

Ixo has done all 8 1966 Ford GTs. I have since replaced #2 and #3 with Minichamps which have engine detail. Some years ago I did a comparison between the MC and Ixo. No doubt CMR and Altaya models are just rehashes of the original Ixo.
