....very nice (I think I have one - I'll have to check ). Those rims are not that common; were they optional "mags?" 🤔

Nice looking model. I drove a VW Beetle twice. It was the car I learned to drive a manual transmission.

The last time I drove a manual on the street was c.1980 when I borrowed my friend's Vega to pick up a pack of cigarettes. Honestly, I doubt I could even get around the block today if I was forced to drive a stick. 😔 😔 😔

Wasn't it called the Super Beetle because it had the curved windshield ? I swear a kid on my mail route bought one. We used to talk about it when he was home and customizing it.
