Did some work with a few Edicola diecast Rambler Americans from some partworks series.  The off the shelf one is a metallic turquoise two door sedan but I needed more variations.  One became a two tone four door sedan, one a tan station wagon with luggage rack,  and one a convertible. The removal of top allowed it to be repurposed as a convertible top for display top up or top down with a sheet lead fabricated top boot.   These most of these 1967s had fancy wire wheel covers I was able to replicate with color photocopying.   Being a compact car type of person, I always liked this series from AMC.

And adding to the above, this body shell got a whole new life when AMC was bought by Renault and the body production moved to south America as the IKA Renault Torino which became a sort of national car for many years in Argentina between 1966 and 1981 under an agreement with AMC.   Engines on these were an AMC derived overhead cam in line six cylinder used for only a short period of time in the USA in Jeep Wagoneers and Gladiator pickups and military versions.  The Torino used these in varying displacements up to almost 4 liters and 248 HP.
