For 1974 Volkswagen offered a special edition series for the standard beetle, the Super Beetle, and the Cabriolet. These were painted a special Harvest Gold and came with upgraded interiors and sport silver painted wheels. The series was given the title “Sun Bug.” Minichamps issued a Super Beetle in 1:43. Here is a comparison between the full size and the 1:43 models
