Early in 2019 (time flies) I posted on the former Forum 43 pictures of a Brooklin ‘56 ‘bird that I had bought cheap on ebay as it was damaged. I saw it as a challenge to restore, sort of a barn find out of North Carolina that would have been destined to the junk yard. Since I already have three ‘birds in Fiesta Red I chose Sunset Coral for the restoration. Here again are some pictures of the restoration. I would love to know the history of this Brooklin model before I acquired it. Was it part of someone’s collection? Did it end up in a little kid’s toy box to be played with, hence the condition? How did it end up on ebay? In any case, it has been rescued and restored albeit in a different yet authentic Ford color.
