I have a question for members who might know a bit of info.
In 2019, I had the opportunity to acquire a 1935 Pierce Arrow, BRK 100. It was a rare color sample in white. The model came from the Dick Browne collection and at the time I made the purchase, the info I was told was that it was the only one made. I have since acquired a 2nd one that looks identical to the 1st. So, the question is, how many where actually done by the factory? Any info please!

I don't have an answer, John, but that is most certainly a beautiful model and Pierce-Arrow automobile ! Perhaps it is possible that a couple of color samples were run off, but not meant for typical public sale by Brooklin.

Possibly there were doubts expressed by someone as to whether it was actually "officially" a Pierce-Arrow factory color. They may have ended up in a private collection however and later were sold by individuals.

In any case, it is a gorgeous color and real or white metal metal automobile.

@mikedetorrice I got another one two years ago and I thought it was 1 of 1, but it looks like there are at least three....

It looks superb, Gianluigi ! Perhaps several replicas were actually done as tests, or people (like you, John (and visually me) thought it looked so good that they had it re-done in this color in a professional manner. The result is the same ...... it is a gorgeous and rare Pierce-Arrow automobile and model.

These were definitely done by the Brooklin factory. It is indicated on the box as such. So right now, three exist. If there are more, we'll only know if someone comes up with another.

It does make sense that they would do more than one sample, once they're geared-up with the paint and labels. I would guess they'd send them out to particular dealers that have a high turnaround of Brooklins, to gauge market interest before committing to a run.  It's logical also that an agent may feel - or even be flattered into the idea - that his is the only colour sample. I certainly know sales staff who are excellent at giving buyers a warmish glow.
