I stumbled on these Exoto 43 models in my overloaded stockroom that I'd completely forgotten, but definitely worth another look. Both are Alfa Romeo 500 3 ton trucks that were produced from from 1934 to 1951. The yellow "Scuderia Ferrari" is branded a 1936 model carrying the #16 Alfa Romeo P3. The red "Scuderia Alfa Romeo" is branded as it existed in 1950. I'm not sure when these models were first released but my pics are dated 2006. The models are very nicely crafted and they definitely deserve some display space... if I can find some. LOL
I've always liked these but passed on them (I wish they were American trucks ). Everything is nicely done, but it's a bit surprising neither has working steering. Awesome pics Rich! 😎 😎 😎
They look nice. Since they are Alfa vehicles, you could loan them to Karl, if you do not have display space.

@chris It would be more surprising to me if they had working steering in 1/43 scale. I don't collect racing models but these are terrific models none the less.

Maybe I'm wrong but it always seemed to me that many of the Exoto-43 trucks (car haulers ) have working steering. 🤔 🤔 🤔
Terrific models and excellent range of photos!
WOW! Those both look incredible! Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!
