Thought I would share a few cars with trailers they might have towed back in the day. The '34 Pierce Silver Arrow and Travel Lodge trailer are recent additions to me. I thought these two looked good together. The '58 Ford is towing a '58 Shasta like the one I traveled in as a kid with my parents. They towed it with a '57 Dodge two door hardtop and then a '64 Pontiac Lemans. The '46 Sportsman towing the Slumber Coach is a Brooklin vintage favorite. The '48 Aero Flite Falcon is a good combination with the '56 Cadillac convertible. And last but not least is the '54 Ford station wagon with a '53 Airstream ready for a little canoeing and fishing.

Two dark blue Pierces together - a pair like this was in the Cussler Museum a few years ago.

Your post is awesome Curtis.  I missed out on the Durham Classics '54 Ford wagon back in the day and sure regret it now.

Next door neighbor towed this Shasta trailer with his '56 Chevrolet convertible (with Powerglide and Power Pack) multiple times from the SF Bay Area to Canada.   Somewhere over 100K miles the engine blew a piston and he sold the car for $50!  With an overhauled engine what would that be worth today??

Just for fun, here is a matching set for me. However i'm not sure at all if the yellow on the 1955 Pontiac have a close tint of the Shasta?

@jack-dodds Yes it is! I should have bought it. I never saw this color combo again afterwards. Then I decided to bought instead a 1956 Pontiac Chieftain wagon detailed and painted in Black over Yellow by John White to go with my Shasta and it make a beautiful set i think? The Yellow on the wagon is very close of the yellow on the Shasta. You have have a lot of difficulties to see the difference.
