It is a beautiful car and model and it is great we are lucky to have this one in several scales and types of materials from several manufacturers ! If any automobile deserves being available in various forms, it is the extremely attractive Packard Caribbean.
Very nice indeed. No disrespect to those who have raved about the Brookin version, and if they love that version I'm happy for them to enjoy it, but I have to say this looks way better.
One (very small) comment. Having criticised the Brooklin for what I thought was a clumsy-looking hood scoop, I see Automodello have done it much more subtly but didn't put a thin line of black paint or a small matt black insert to indicate the actual scoop opening. A small strip of thin black or dark grey chart tape or something similar would fix the problem (assuming anyone apart from me even considers it a problem!)

Thanks for photos. I think this is a great two color scheme for this model.

A beautiful model; the interior detail really enhances it.
Something I have been wondering. Is there a meaning for the name you use here “100Ford2003”?

I haven't taught myself how to change my log-in yet !
I and my youngest brother are BIG Ford fans. He still has his '70 Mach1 in Calypso Coral.
In '03 we went to Dearborn for the 100th birthday celebration for Ford Motor Company.
I've been using '100Ford2003' in different spellings on various applications for 20yrs now because it's easy for me to remember.
Funny thing is that when I give a 👍 to a post here I sometimes show up with the 100 moniker or just 'you'.
I should really go into my profile and change it.
Thanks for asking about it.

I seem to remember when trying to change my avatar that it can take some time (and maybe a couple of tries) for the system to get round to making the change.

Graeme is right. Give it a day or two, then try again.

Thank you gentlemen, I appreciate your response.

I received the Automodello model today and had a chance to compare it to the MOC and both to a 1/1. The windshield on the Automodello model is more correct then the Moc which is tilted back too much. The headlights are more correct on this model with the resin inserts. The MOC however has several things that are done better. The first being the ornaments over the headlights are more to scale, second the Carribean scripts on the front fenders are situated slightly forward as is correct on the 1/1. Thirdly, the rocker moldings on the MOC are more pronounced which is also correct to the 1/1. As to scale, someone mentioned that the MOC is under scale...if that is true then so is the Automodello as they are identical from bumper to bumper.
