Just a few more shots. My friends Auburn at speed on the tour., another 917 in Gulf colors to add to the three other Gulf cars posted yesterday. This was taken the night before the concours., The Phil Hill family 1931 Pierce Arrow 41 LeBaron Town Car Cabriolet that was Best of Show at Pebble in 1955., A Duesenberg Broad Track 2-Man Race Car #25 one of 5 team cars between 1913 and 1916., A 1955 Ferrari 250 Europa GT Pinin Farina Coupe Speciale., A 1938 Bugatti Type 57C Gangloff Stelvio., A 1952 MBZ 300 S Coupe.
Fantastic pics! Thank you.
@mg-harv Harvey, I think you're right about it being a Bugatti but not the one from the Mullin collection. This car has no spine. I believe it's a 1938 Bugatti Type 57C Gangloff Stelvio.
@parisi50 But I see the spine in the photo! Also, when I searched Bugatti 57C Gangloff Stelvio on Google every image that showed up was a cabrio.
@mg-harv Yes I see it now. It looked like the body was just peaking at the center but upon closer inspection it does indeed have a spine. I never really inspected this particular car, just took the photo.
