Things are quite quiet around here midweek, so I thought I'd drop this in to fill a bit of space and spread a little happiness and bewilderment.
If you are only interested in serious 1:43 news, photos and comment, just move quickly on to the next post and I won't be offended. (Well, OF COURSE I'll be offended, but I quite understand).
p.s. I daresay someone will complain that this should be in the Lounge, where silly jokes and madmen are meant to be safely confined. But that is unfair. First of all, surely you can’t dismiss the above as a mere JOKE? And secondly, it is unkind to the regular inhabitants of the Lounge. There are few places on Earth where you can find the same intensity of intellectual discourse as you will encounter in that forum. The Mariana Trench is one. The Siberian Tundra in late December. The Atatcama Desert. Maybe the North Face of the Eiger on a damp Tuesday afternoon. I could go on, but I think I’ve made my point.

Thanks for the pictures. Any similarity with folks we know?

Thank you for this riveting presentation Graeme. I wonder if this fellow could be given a computer in order to join The Lounge Lizards? He is obviously a kindred spirit.
He already has one. How do you think he put this autobiographical piece together? There's a limit to what can be done with scissors and paste and a Box Brownie (Lord knows I've tried).

massive congratulations on this fresh look into the olde homestead......brilliant work Chap 🧐
A masterpiece Graeme! Unfortunately, your creative masterpiece has given the rest of us great problems. You have challenged John Barry and Jack Dodds to do even more outlandish tales and we may have trouble finding actual models amongst all this highly entertaining creative stuff.
That said, keep it up all of you as most of us look forward in anticipation to see what comes up next. As to the former Laird of Clashfannish, what a life and what a collection. Feel sorry for the family though.
I am hoping that they can be persuaded to stay in The Lounge where they belong, and that this Forum will continue to confine itself to proper 1:43-related narratives (like this one, which after all does have "1:43" in the title so has every right to be here, in my view.)

Graeme, I will say just this......I hope your scissors aren't the pointy kind.
I sure hope this fellow has a very well thought out estate plan. Someone, some day is going to need it.

Wow this was wonderful Graeme. Nice to know that the addiction is worldwide. The man certainly has his priorities in order.
I have passed this on to my editorial colleague, Ms. Debi, for review and comment. Having been to her first 1:43 soiree, I am sure she will have some appropriate 'newbie' comments to share. It may be a while, though, as she is in the midst of translating some alien transmissions. Since their words are composed of tap dancing and fart noises, that may be a while. So far only the line from Caddyshack, "So I got that going for me", has been translated. But her diligent work continues. I myself found your assessment 100% accurate and reflects my own state of affairs precisely. But now I must get back to more important scientific research, attempting to prove that the pileated woodpecker is a direct descendant of the pteradactyl.
Is the above post really from Harv? It has a surreal air that sounds suspiciously like JB in disguise. Possibly some sort of infection that is spreading throughout this community. One fears for our collective sanity.
