@graeme-ogg It is truly me Graeme. My close friend and companion Debi has a wicked sense of humor, and I carefully cut and pasted all your images into an e-mail to her. I did that last Christmas, with your Scrooge tale, and she sent me a hilarious USA-focused response. The bit about the alien language is a re-plaigerized bit from a Kurt Vonnegut novel, which I hope to read when Debi releases it from her mitts. In the meantime I am reading her copy of The Legend of Zippy Chippy, the biggest loser in horse racing history, and it's a hilarious book. The pteradactyl comparison is one I have wondered about - I saw a pileated woodpecker just yesterday near my home, perhaps my second sighting ever. They are magnificent birds, anywhere from 15 to 19 inches in length. When they pound away at a tree, the sound carries for at least a 1/4-mile.

I am hoping that they can be persuaded to stay in The Lounge where they belong, and that this Forum will continue to confine itself to proper 1:43-related narratives (like this one, which after all does have "1:43" in the title so has every right to be here, in my view.)

I can't speak for JayBee but I will say that I could be persuaded by an inducement.....say....24-7 happy hour??

Okay, I get it Harv; but how do red-headed pteradactyl farts figure into the big picture?

And why do I get the terrible feeling that my autobiographical saga is being swamped by by a tsunami of prehistoric flatulence?

Sometimes this place just plain scares me.

@john-barry She has been known to draw cows as stick figures. Or so she claims. We are still searching for the original works of art.
