John, as I looked at your good pictures, I started to post some criticism of this recent BRK model; but then I looked up some pictures and found out something:
Those oversized white walls, that strangely distorted trunk, those weak roof supports, and that poor proportion of top to bottom weren't Brooklin's fault. At least in my eyes, the fault lies with Pontiac as of 1961. I didn't like it then, either.
Thanks for your good photography. You just saved me some $$$. (Now let's listen to the Pontiac fans fuss at me.)
Hey David, we all entitled to our opinion. If we all liked the same thing, my how boring it would be. There would be far less choices to be found in almost everything. Why should there be, we all like the same thing.
I am a very big fan of the '61 Pontiac style now, but I can recall as a young man, that I thought it looked quite odd. Compared to the beautiful '62, it was mal formed. LOL!
Goldvarg gave us a Catalina, and now this Ventura, if someone would just do a Bonneville, I'd be thrilled.

I have loved the look of this car since I first set eyes on the new one my neighbour bought back in the day. It was a Canadian Parisienne 2drht., white with red interior....gorgeous.
