Another new Buick added to my collection.
1954 Buick Century Riviera Hardtop Coupe - Motor City USA - Design Studio Series

Very nice indeed! I love the colors. When was this one made?

Nice model and I like the color. If you are correct about early 1990s, this model is over 25 years old. How would you compare the level of detail and overall finish to models such as Conquest 1957 Buick and Brooklin 1956 Buick, two models I have.

Congratulations on such a find, John. The Motor City line made really fine models, and yours is obviously one of their best. Good one! On the other end of the spectrum, where financially I'm more comfortable, I found this one a few months ago for something under $10. I remember because I got change back. I think it was on sale because the outer clear plastic wall had been dented. Well, it's a Buick anyhow.
Wanna swap?

(Later: I looked this series up and find that it sold originally for quite a bit more than $10. Maybe I got it cheaper because of the dent in the plastic?)

Nice addition John. I have had this model for many years and would rate it at least as good as white metal models being produced today. Ken, I was able to find the black MOC 54 Buick convertible a few years ago...it was pricey but worth it. You have a nice convertible collection.
@kenspear Do a search for the TSM, True Scale Models, 1954 convertible and hardtop. Here they are with a Brooklin sedan and a two door sedan conversion of a TSM.
And the Brooklin Ionia bodied Estate Wagon

@john-quilter I have a question about the Brooklin Estate Wagon. Is your model the stock model from Brooklin or did you add some extra detail?
I have a nice little collection of Buicks from 1941 to 1964 and can use something between 1950 and 1956. One of those 1954 models would do nicely.

@ed-davis Sorry, I misspoke, it's not a Brooklin, but a TSM. And I did no extra detailing.
