Spark 1963 Ford Galaxie driven by Ken Miles to an 11th place finish at the Golden State 400 at Riverside. This must have been Fred Lorenzen's Holman & Moody backup car (he DNF'd with a bad tranny after 20 laps). The team must have turned '28' into '281' with electrician's tape, but forgot the roof. This is from Spark's US series and is limited to 500. An obscure car to make, but Spark already had the master and the Ford v. Ferrari movie has probably enhanced Ken Miles's reputation amongst race fans.
Thanks Harv for showing us a rather unique and certainly different part of Ken Miles racing career. This is a new one to me.
Very interesting.

I have this one on my watch list, better not hesitate or they'll be gone before I know it.
Miles only competed in NASCAR once. There is an interesting story here.
