As I've been building kits from the 1980's and into the very early 2000's recently, often without directions and sometimes with a few missing parts, I feel it's time for a change. So here it is, still 1:43, but like nothing I've ever built before. As I just opened it, I found all sorts of parts in sealed envelopes, as well as a complete set of directions!

Don't expect hourly reports, but I will post progress every few days. Of course, it's also quickly becoming lawn-mowing time!

Testors did a whole line of those 1/43 Hot Rod kits. Have built several of them. I think you will enjoy it.

Is the darker one purple? (I'm colorblind)

If so that would be perfect for the Frankenstude. What brand/name is the paint.
