A semi-holy grail model acquired (pics).
I say "semi" because this model only came out less than a year ago, but supplies seemed to dry up so quickly I'm not even sure any made it to US dealers. Or maybe I was just caught napping.

This is one of Matrix's Louwman Museum models, a 1948 Talbot-Lago T26 with body by Saoutchik. Just a gorgeous swoopy-fendered car. Searching a certain auction website, the only one I could find was from Russia, took 6 weeks to get here and (surprise, surprise) got dislodged during all the handling and arrived badly beaten. Amazingly, I was able to return it for a refund.

Searching via Google revealed a British source, with a much happier result this time.
I am sorry that it was such a pain, but congrats! A real blue beauty.
The results appear it was worth the efforts. Good one!
I'm not usually into these curvy cars but I must say this one is beautiful. Congrats!
Great looking model made even greater by the display.
