ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS !!
Richard, I too have that model in green. IMO the model looks elegant in that color.
I have always preferred the single headlight design vs. the '58; this is my fave Caddy of its decade. The more angular fin trimming gave the car a crisper and rather sporty presence; especially the CDV; which can be hard to accomplish on a full size luxury vehicle. This design feature is the main reason I dislike the '57 Lincoln "stuck on" fin treatment so much, compared to the gorgeous '56; Cadillac nailed it while Lincoln blew it big time.
@jack-dodds Took the words right out of my mouth Jack.
"...the '57 Lincoln "stuck on" fin treatment..."
Agreed, the 1957 Lincoln face-lift was a true bastardization of the gorgeous '56 design language. 😲 😲 😯
I agree 100% that facelift was awful. Even so I think I personally prefer it to the "ultimate behemoth" styling of to the '58 thru '60 Lincolns. Those never did much for me. Thankfully Lincoln got well back on track for '61.
And speaking of 1957 Cadillacs I wonder if any model company will do this car of which, I understand, only 6 were made. An Eldorado Seville
An Eldorado coupe:
rear quarter grafted onto an Eldorado Brougham four door hardtop but without the suicide rear doors. Or maybe a 60S like in Richard's photo above.

@john-quilter John, a rare 1957 4-door Cadillac Eldorado Seville could "easily" be crafted by removing the rear of a Stamp '57 SDV, then replacing it with the rear of Stamp '57 Eldorado (coupe or convertible ). A little rear door clean up, some paint, and DONE!
Easy work for someone like you!
...pardon my 2-minute-crude-photoshop work. 🙄 🙄 🙄
The 50's Seville tail end treatment always looked to me like two rather dissimilar cars grafted together; the two halves didn't complement one another.
