A woodie favorite of mine although a little oversized, the Motor City Chrysler Town & Country.

Great pics and model......I really like these MOC T&C's
paint application is super nice
The long front fenders of this model indicate it replicates one of the only 100 C39N eight cylinder Town & Country sedans made from 1946-48. The far more common one was the C38W six cylinder version of which 4049 were made. The wheelbase and front fender length were the visual differences. All convertibles (8368) were eight cylinder cars.

Motor City T&C Sedan......
John is correct in his explanation of T&C production. I always had the impression that Alan Novak never realized that their were some 8 cyl. sedans, and just took it for granted that all T&C's were the same, like the convertibles.
Come to think of it. I have been to hundreds of car shows, and I don't think I ever saw an 8 cyl. sedan.
Once saw an 8 cylinder T & C sedan in the basement of the Peterson Museum

So, if there were only 100 8 cylinder sedans produced, I wonder how many are left?
That's important to remember. This model is often criticized for being out of scale...
