I've given up thinking I'm close to being definitive on any area of my collection because there's always something else to discover. I've also learned that it's worth asking model dealers if they've got anything not out on display. About half of my Chicago haul came from doing that.

In fact, one of those "Do you have any other wagons?" exchanges occurred with Greg Gunn. That's when he ducked down behind his table and pulled out a lovely MA Collection 1946 Delahaye 135 shooting break. That led me to emailing him after the show to have him check his reserves to see if he had any more wagons. Soon a photo of a 1947 Alvis TA14 woody appeared in my email inbox at a price that was quite fair. It is now in my collection...

This is a very handsome British woody. I'm quite sure you must have a Rolls Royce woody from the pre-war era as I have seen them about. And Autopioneer had a fabulous 1938 Horch 830 woody which they've since sold out of, though Thorsten Sabrautsky the proprietor there may know of a dealer who may still have one - if you don't already. But to me, the real prize is your MA Delahaye. That has real character.

@charles-rockett Yes, that Autopioneer is a real beauty. I bought the second to last one. While a bit salty, I've not regretted the purchase one bit.

@randyrusk I think I understand the meaning of salty in the present context, but not 100% sure. I bought the Gulbenkian Silver Wraith, because it is an amazing piece of Osmond Rivers design work that I had dreamed of since seeing a picture as a boy. And also the Borgward windspeel but have had to forgo others that I would have liked. Congratulations on your Delahaye.

I love both of your woody wagons posted today Randy. Not sure that I have seen either before.

J&M did a lot of cool Alvises (Alvii?).  Mike Coupe had photos of most of them and 4 different woodies !!! 😎

To be my usual pedantic self, if we're talking about Alvis (a British car) we ought really be calling it a utility bodied Alvis.
