This Abingdon Classics MGA is another model from the unbelievable collection of 1/43 models I obtained last year.

Love Abington Classics. This is a very nice one. I have several but would love more.

I ditched my Abingdons when the Bizarre models were released. Here's the team from 1955 Le Mans.

MG Ex192 No. 41 (Miles/Lockett) was 12th, No. 42 (Jacobs/Flynn) DNF'd due to an accident, and No. 64 (Lund/Waeffler) was 17th.

These are lovely Harv.  I know nothing about Bizarre Models; is the line entirely racing theme?

This is a really nice older model.  Robert I am interested in hearing about you finding the large collection you purchased.  If you don't mind could you possibly provide an overview of the types/brands of models you found in this collection?

@jack-dodds Bizarre Models were started by Fernando Pinto in Macau about two decades ago. All 1/43 resin, and somewhere along the way they became tied in with Spark under the Minimax umbrella. Subjects have included non-mainstream cars - also-rans from Le Mans, show cars, and a boatload of land speed record cars predominate. As their name suggests, here's their Buckminster Fuller Dymaxion.

Bizarre?   They did some nice Alfas too: BATS, etc, of course.  Here is their Disco Volante!

BIZARRE Disco
