AE Dodge
Aries K photo no longer available
A mundane little crap trap, I think. I was hoping for an earlier version. A Volare fastback or something.
AE makes good models but...
the subject matter they chose leaves alot to be desired.
Frank, at the rate Neo is going they will eventually produce everything.
So, just buy what you like, that should keep you busy enough.
As far as cr@p traps go, the Aspen and Volare were ahead by bucketsfull. They were a big part of the
Chrysler Corp. slide that was stopped by the K Cars. There were a lot of Duster, Swinger, Valiant and Dart owners who were turned off by the much anticipated but disappointng Volare and Aspen. The ones who were more disappointed were most of those that bought the A-V's.
I think the same ! this model is very ugly !!
But Frank, their subject matter I think has been refreshingly adventurous, and, along with all the excellent choices they've done, I would be more than willing to accept any one's that might not be in my collecting wheelhouse. (heck, and sometimes even those become intriguing to have !)
I totally agree.....I don't buy all their models but............
I've certainly been intrigued enough by many of their choises that I've purchased models of vehicles that I'd never cared about at all......big Cadillacs included. I don't have to like the real cars a lot to enjoy the models, as long as the level of proportion and detail appeals to me.
I like their refreshing choices, and they've certainly made a NEO and 1/43 fan out of me in the last year or so.
There are always three or four on their 'upcoming' list that I really look forward to.
Well, I sure hope they do an early Chrysler Cordoba....Honest....
Hey, I had a '76 Volare "liftback" at one time, it certainly...
wasn't any better than the K cars of the eighties, though they looked a heck of a lot better.
