After a mention of the Shrock brothers, I spent a few minutes with their web site, which has several divisions, at

http://www.shrockbrothers.com/43rd_scale.html

The only models I found available were in the scale of 1/72. Here is a 1/43 Studebaker pickup that is NOT in production. There are a lot of pictures of models that are "not in production."

And this is a 1/72 pickup that recently sold for over $230 on eBay.

I don't have a Shrock Bros. model, but they look interesting.

Dave, I have over 100 Shrock models....

Back in the 1980's and 90's I was a dealer for Shrock, probably the only one. We are still friends, but they haven't made 1/43rd scale models for a long time. They have only made 1/72nd now, and I don't know if they are making anything at this point. According to my records, I have 41 1/43rd, 56 1/72, and 17 1/55th scale. Tom always said they couldn't make a profit with the larger scale, so they went with the 1/72 scale in the end.
I have always coveted these models, because I love Studebakers, and have always been good friends of Dave and Tom Shrock. Plus, the models are very scarce, and of super quality, with authentic colors.
I own a 1942 Studebaker President, so that adds to my great liking for the models.

Many thanks for this good information, Raymond. I have heard of these models for years, but I've never seen one. I appreciate your good words.
