After around three years after its announcement,

Esval are to release the 1939 Humber Super Snipe in October. Pic will probably be between ?80 and ?90. Here are the publicity photos.
There is also a 1939 SS100 2.5 Litre Roadster by Vanden Plas of Belgium (NOT UK note), fom Matrix.

That version with the pram irons looks odd to me Mike

It would appear to exist John

Found just one photo on t'internet and here it is. Is it a one off? Humbers were built to special order before the War weren't they, or am I wrong?

I think virtually all were mass produced Mike. I agree with Maz...

A Super Snipe four light saloon from 1938 would have been a good choice. Neither look as nice as your Humber - but that is my personal opinion as a Rootes fan! I am not denigrating Esval's efforts in any way. Building model cars, as we know, is a tough business and there are plenty of detractors out there who don't appreciate the effort model manufacturers put in with no guarantee of success.

I always associate this Humber (sans pram irons) with "Foyles War" (UK TV programme) where it made regular appearances transporting the bigwigs around.
