After too many years of additions and a few deletions, my Packard collection needed work. (pics)
So I emptied the display shelves.

And again mourned the absence of the early Packards.

Found a lot of my little people, including dogs and other beasties.

And then, after some cleaning, I put them back, hopefully in a little better order.

I like these Packards!
Are those "Carney Plastics" display cases?, If so...
...how are they at keeping your cars dust-free? I've been
looking for some 1:43 scale display cases.

I've had these for quite a few years, and I can't find a manufacturer's name. But yes, they are very good at keeping dust away. Some of these Packards have been in there for years and there is very little dust if any at all. I have five of these cases and wish I had room for more.
You need the Danbury 1930 Packard Convertible in Pewter I have...
I think the sizes of the DM pewter may be a bit bigger than 1:43 (or 1:48 O gauge) but definitely smaller than 1:24/1:25 (G scale). Probably somewhere in the 1:35 range, but still really cool cars.

My collection at the office (just a few cars).

The Packard in question. I just noticed the bent over mirror. Thankfully pewter is pliable. All fixed.
What a fantastic collection of Packard models.

You ain't kiddin'!
Nice collection, David! Even some Rettig Rockets, I see. Front Row right: Frobly or BAM?
Robert, I like photo 2 especially. Kind of moody, like grey ghosts emerging from the mists
That 1964 Shelby Cobra "Dragonsnake" by Marsh is rare one
Thanks, Robert. I just checked a different (non-1:43) display, and
I have it. Also have the similar '53 Caribbean.
Good eye, Randall. That's a Bruce Arnold model.
It's one of my favorites.
The 63 Grand Sport is also a Marsh Models. They are a couple of great models.
That may be the most valuable one you have (unless you have some Motor City?)
"Rettig Rocket" - nice term, Randall! ๐

That's only the 2nd I've seen in 20 years. I believe ...
production from the factory was limited to 100 pcs.
