An interesting Alfa Romeo 8C from IXO Museum. (pics)

This was a slightly unusual purchase for me: an Alfa Romeo (a name which I associate with racing, and I'm not a follower there); no box (used but obviously gently); and made in China for IXO Museum (the only other one I have is a Graham convertible.) Oh yes, it was the fender skirts that really caught me! (And I usually don't like fender skirts.) So here it is:

I just looked over at my IXO Graham. Maybe I have a thing for red convertibles?

Doing a little research on this Alfa, I found a notice that the same 1:1 was reproduced in 1:18 by True Scale Miniatures.

I like those skirts too - so much that it was my gravatar image for awhile
