I love the black one and have one. I also have the two-tone red that was issued not too long ago. I read that the color was not accurate, but I don't care. It is a gorgeous model.

This is the only model that is absent from my 1940 GM fastback collection. It is becoming difficult to find even though it has been issued in a number of different color combinations. Fastback collection( less 1947 Olds) pictured below.I have a '48 Olds convertible in its place for now. A couple of coupes on top row as I am not aware of any remaining diecast metal GM 1940's fastbacks to fill these spots.

@kenspear

Nice fastback collection Ken!

The Conquest 1947 Olds was the April model of the month at Route 66, and were on sale for $200.

It was the first model of the month that I have seen sell out so fast....they were gone after the first week!

I also have the 2 tone red version that I bought new from Buz.

I would be willing to sell it to you for list price.

I bought it before I acquired the woody version.
