Admittedly, I'm very late to the game with Minimarque models. But for a long time they have been priced at the high end of my range of comfort. But with Wayne Moyer's collection coming to the market, I've been able to affordably acquire a couple. Here's the latest and it's got so much charm. It's got the added provenance of coming from Sinclair's and being owned by Wayne:
1933 Duesenberg Rollston JN Convertible Coupe (Clark Gable)
Have it, love it. Congratulations on the fine addition to your collection Randy.
A beautiful modelΒ Minimarquee made a lot of nice models but they hit those late twenties/thirties-era subjects out of the park

Where is Wayne Moyer's collection being marketed?

Really a great model, Randy.Β And it's from a company that produced some of the finest.Β Now if you can get a larger edition of Frank's photo to post beside your model, you would have it made.Β Β David
(later)Β I just googled "Clark Gable and Duesenberg pictures"Β and, boy!, did they come up fast.Β That man liked those cars!!
What a fantastic model Randy. I appreciate images of the real car thanks to Frank and David. Makes for a great post. Thanks guys!
@john-quilter, the collection is being handled by The Military Toy Shop in Dayton (militarytoyshop.com). You can find some of their listings on eBay under seller ID militarytoyshop. The shop is run by Isaiah Jones who was in Allentown with us last November, a good guy.Β
