A little bit of hunting produced this group of 1/43 models of 1:1 cars I have owned.

.... and the final two I still have 1/43 scale models. An Austin Healey has been lost somewhere.

Minichamp BMW M235i, mine is a 2021 M240i in same color.

I have a few, though not all are 1:43. As possted here several times, I built my own 1:43 MG TD from a Motorkits wm kit.

My Ebbro Accord looks like mine, same color, but lacks LHD and US-style mirrors.

My H-Story Eclipse looks just like my GSX, but is labeled GSR-4 for world markets LHD though.

Never found a model of our 2nd generation Dodge Caravan in metallic red. But this Enesco ornament comes close. Some of the kids look familiar too.

The Caravan gave way to a 1996 Chrysler LHS, in Drama Gold. I have a 1:24 by Brookfield in this color, but no pic presently.

The Chrysler gave way to Kay's last car, a 2000 Jaguar S-Type. I have both the Welly 1:24 diecast, and a glass Christmas ornament with Santa.

My 2000 Miata "Mahogany Edition" was made by Johnny Lightning, 1:64 or so.

The Arnolt-MG was made by Rialto (as a kit) and Neo. I kept waiting for the Neo to appear in Peacock Blue, but no such luck, so the Rialto will need building. I have two red Minichamps Porsche 911s that I hope to merge into a reasonable facsimile of my car someday. Also waiting on a US-spec VW Gti circa 1983  in black - for now a little pull-back toy has to do.

some fantastic car enthusiast examples here. Here's my nice, harmless Mazda 3. Suits me perfectly, these days nearly all my driving is in congested inner city Melbourne.

I cringe however at this example. My late uncle had a beautiful exceptionally well cared for Holden EH Special from 1964 to 1992 when he passed away. I had the opportunity to claim it but never did. Still hurts.

I have a few to add to the list of 1:1 cars owned of which I have 1/43 models. The '48 Mercury woodie I modeled in the color, wheels and side exit pipes behind the rear tires of my high school car. The '37 Tudor Sedan I had just after high school was a humpback not a slantback but in the color of Gull Grey as the model. The model of the '55 Chevy Bel Air is as I also had I shortly after high school with its American Mags and in the same color of Gypsy Red and India Ivory. My '66 Chevelle was Regal Red. The '40 Ford PickUp I had was black. My '40 Tudor Sedan was also black but a standard model, not DeLuxe and the '50 Ford wagon I have is Sunset Beige. Last but not least the Nomad I have is Coronado Yellow with an India Ivory roof. I still have the '50 wagon and Nomad and memories of the others.
