From the few online pictures available of the packaged model, it seems it doesn't have the roof mounted antenna and the hood ornament looks strange. I hope I am wrong. I am waiting for this one since many years.

I ordered mine from Sergio on Feb 10th. Since it is coming to Canada it usually takes longer to arrive. I emailed him Friday just to make sure that it's on its way. I'll post pictures when it arrives.

I have the 48 Buick in both colors and both have the hood ornament and both have the radio antenna on the left front fender. Nickles, I can see your point about the location of the antenna being on the fender rather than on the roof over the windshield. To me it is logical that with the outside visor, the antenna would be located on the fender otherwise it should be on the roof. Perhaps the roof location was an option or the radio was an aftermarket installation? Either way, I'm fine with both models as both have been long awaited additions to my collection and are perfect in every other way.
