We collect models of our dreams but how many of you guys ever thought about what we drive everyday? Just 1/43 scale for for the purpose of the game.
I just mean no Classics here but just the daily drivers. This should be fun and challenging.
Lets open the challenge models to up to 20 years ago.
these models represent my previous and current daily driver.
2006 Corvette (New Ray) (I drove a 2007)
2014 Corvette (Spark) (I drive a 2016)

Yes, I started doing this a number of years ago. So far I've accumulated models of my 1:1 Corvairs (Monza convertibles and coupes, '65-'67, and a '65 Corsa hardtop), my '58 MGA Fixed-Head Coupe, three MGB '71-'72 roadsters, my '69 Camaro Z-28 in silver with black stripes, three BMW 3-Series cars from the 1990s, a Mercedes-Benz sedan from 2007, and a Ford Fusion sedan in silver from just a few years ago. All but the MGA FHC are in the same colors as my 1:1 daily driver. There are a few more out there which are available, like the '76 Mercury Capri and a Chevy II Nova, but I haven't picked them up yet. All of the cars were daily drivers when I owned them, except for the last Corvair convertible which was show-quality when I owned it in 2004-2008 and only drove it for club events, shows, etc.

@jack-dodds, I'm thinking of modifying my model to match The Legend!

Further back than 20 yrs ago but I do have 2 so far Danbury mint 49 Olds coupe and a Franklin mint 57 Ford Skyliner Retractable.
@ben-lampson, no, but I pretended it did. I put Shelby Cobra decals on it and used tubing to make it look like it had dual exhausts. I even let off the gas while I was accelerating to make it look like I was shifting. I was the scourge of Main St...for about 3 days. No one was fooled...but, hey...I was having a blast!

Similar story, I had a 68 Charger (in 1972), automatic on the column and 318 under the hood, got my doors blown off by a 440 R/T; but I looked cool.

This is as close as I come to my 2008 Carrera. I have plans to convert it, along with another donor, to my car with full aerokit trim Someday maybe..
Haven't found an Outback in dark blue like our 2018. There have been other colors but I keep hoping.
Predecessors included a 2000 S-Type, 2000 Miata, and a 2008 Caddy SRX. Haven't found, nor looked too hard, for the SRX, and had to settle for a 1/24 Welly Jag and a Johnny Lightning 1/64-ish Miata. But the colors were right.
I have to go back more than 20 years. My only 1/43 scale model of one of my daily drivers is a Datsun 240Z. The 1:1 scale was a 1972. The Oxford diecast model is one showing the UK version from 1970 to 1972. Besides location of steering wheel, there are a few trim differences between US and UK versions. The 1:1 was definitely a daily driver, being driven through sub-zero weather, 90 degrees plus summer days, snow storms, etc.
I think the photo of the real car is from 1975.
