Even with care our cars can suffer damage. Recently, I noticed this chip on the rear fender of one of my favorite Brooklins, the ‘58 Chevy Impala in Tropical Turquoise.

I found on Amazon a bottle of Turquoise not available in my local hobby store. I ordered the paint Saturday and it arrived today (Monday).

After repair.

I was lucky. I have sometimes had to mix colors but this Turquoise was a perfect match.

I love this car, one of Brooklin’s best despite its lack of chrome detail.
